These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of GlowLog, including our website at glowlogs.com, our web application, the AI Beauty Studio, skin-tracking tools, beauty-analysis features, subscription services, reports, recommendations, and related services. By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, uploading content, or using GlowLog, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use GlowLog.
1. What GlowLog Does
GlowLog is an AI-powered beauty intelligence and skin-tracking platform. It may provide features such as AI skin analysis, glow tracking, routine tracking, progress reports, the AI Beauty Studio, Makeup Check AI, Foundation Match, Event Prep Mode, Glow Reports, personalized beauty and routine suggestions, and subscription-based premium features. GlowLog is designed for beauty, cosmetic, wellness, routine-tracking, and educational purposes only. GlowLog is not a medical device, healthcare provider, dermatologist, clinic, or diagnostic service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use GlowLog. By using GlowLog, you represent that you meet the minimum age requirement, can enter into a binding agreement, will provide accurate account information, will use GlowLog only for lawful purposes, and will not upload images of other people without their permission. If you use GlowLog on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.
3. Account Registration
You may need to create an account to use certain features. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, not share your account with unauthorized users, notify us of any unauthorized access, and be responsible for activity under your account. GlowLog may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. User Content
“User Content” means content you upload, enter, submit, or create through GlowLog, including facial images, selfies, skin photos, routine notes, product entries, beauty preferences, skin goals, journal entries, and feedback. You retain ownership of your User Content. By uploading User Content, you grant GlowLog a limited license to host, store, process, analyze, reproduce, and display the content only as needed to provide, maintain, secure, and improve GlowLog and to comply with legal obligations. GlowLog does not claim ownership of your uploaded facial images, does not sell your facial images, and does not use your facial images for identity verification or facial recognition.
5. Facial Images and Selfie Uploads
If you upload a facial image, selfie, or skin photo, you represent that the image is of you (or you have permission to upload it), that it does not violate anyone else’s rights, that you understand GlowLog will process it to generate beauty or skin-related insights, that you understand AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete, and that you understand GlowLog does not provide medical advice. You may not upload images of another person without permission, images of minors, medical records or clinical images, illegal or abusive content, or content intended for medical diagnosis. GlowLog may remove content that violates these Terms.
6. AI Outputs and Limitations
GlowLog uses artificial intelligence and automated systems to generate insights, reports, and recommendations, including skin-appearance observations, beauty suggestions, makeup-prep guidance, foundation or undertone suggestions, routine recommendations, Glow Reports, and progress summaries. AI outputs are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, suitable, or reliable, and you should use your own judgment before relying on any output. GlowLog does not guarantee specific skin improvements, cosmetic results, product effectiveness, dermatology-level accuracy, medical accuracy, or compatibility with every skin type, tone, or condition.
7. No Medical Advice
GlowLog is not a healthcare service and does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any disease, condition, or medical issue. GlowLog does not replace advice from doctors, dermatologists, estheticians, pharmacists, or licensed medical professionals. If you notice pain, swelling, bleeding, infection, rapid changes, severe irritation, an allergic reaction, or any concerning skin condition, stop using related products and consult a qualified healthcare professional. Do not rely on GlowLog for medical decisions.
8. Subscriptions and Billing
GlowLog offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid features may include advanced analysis, AI Beauty Studio tools, Glow Reports, routine intelligence, progress tracking, and premium recommendations. Subscriptions may be billed monthly or annually. By purchasing a paid subscription, you authorize GlowLog and its payment processor to charge your selected payment method. Payments are processed by Stripe, and GlowLog does not store your full credit card number.
9. Starter Offer
GlowLog may offer a starter promotion of $1.99 USD for a 3-day starter pass. After the starter period ends, your subscription may automatically renew at the regular plan price shown at checkout unless you cancel before renewal. The exact price, billing interval, renewal date, and subscription terms are shown at checkout, and you are responsible for reviewing the checkout page before purchasing. All prices and charges on GlowLog are in US Dollars (USD).
10. Auto-Renewal
Paid subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date. Monthly plans are billed monthly and annual plans are billed annually. You authorize recurring charges until you cancel. You can cancel through your account settings, through the Stripe billing portal, or through another method provided by GlowLog.
11. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically refund the current billing period. After cancellation, you may continue to access paid features until the end of your current paid billing period unless otherwise stated.
12. Refunds
Payments are generally non-refundable unless required by law or otherwise stated at checkout. If you believe there has been a billing error, contact us at [email protected] and we will review it. As a courtesy, if an AI analysis fails to complete due to a technical error on our side, GlowLog automatically restores the credits used for that analysis to your account so you can try again.
13. Pricing Changes
GlowLog may change subscription prices or plan features from time to time. If pricing changes affect your active subscription, we will provide notice where required. Your continued use after a pricing change takes effect means you accept the updated pricing.
14. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use GlowLog illegally; upload images of others without consent or images of minors; upload medical records or clinical images; use GlowLog for diagnosis or medical decision-making; reverse engineer or copy the service; access other users’ accounts; scrape, harvest, or misuse data; interfere with app security; upload malware; abuse subscription systems; share paid accounts in unauthorized ways; or use GlowLog to create misleading, harmful, discriminatory, or abusive content. GlowLog may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
15. Beauty, Makeup, and Product Recommendations
GlowLog may provide beauty, skincare, makeup, or product-related suggestions. These suggestions are informational and cosmetic in nature. GlowLog does not guarantee that a product will work for you, that a shade match will be perfect, that a routine will improve your skin, or that a product is safe for your specific skin. Always patch test products, follow product instructions, stop using a product if irritation occurs, and consult a professional for medical or allergy concerns.
16. Third-Party Products, Links, and Services
GlowLog may reference or link to third-party products, websites, services, payment processors, AI providers, or beauty brands. GlowLog is not responsible for third-party content, products, services, policies, or practices. If you purchase or use third-party products, you do so at your own risk.
17. Intellectual Property
GlowLog — including its name, branding, interface, designs, software, features, reports, text, graphics, and technology — is owned by GlowLog or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from GlowLog unless permitted in writing. You may use GlowLog only as allowed by these Terms.
18. Feedback
If you submit feedback, ideas, suggestions, or feature requests, you grant GlowLog the right to use them without restriction or compensation.
19. Service Availability
GlowLog may change, pause, discontinue, or limit parts of the service at any time. We do not guarantee that GlowLog will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, and some features may be experimental, beta, or AI-generated.
20. Account Suspension or Termination
GlowLog may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, fail to pay, or where required by law or needed to protect users, GlowLog, or third parties. You may delete your account through account settings or by contacting us.
21. Disclaimers
GlowLog is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, GlowLog disclaims warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, merchantability, availability, and error-free operation. GlowLog does not warrant that AI outputs will be accurate, safe, complete, unbiased, or suitable for your specific needs.
22. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GlowLog and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, partners, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; lost profits or data; subscription interruptions; skin, beauty, or product outcomes; reliance on AI outputs; third-party products or services; or unauthorized access beyond our reasonable control. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GlowLog’s total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to GlowLog in the three months before the claim arose, or $100, whichever is greater. This limitation may not apply where prohibited by law.
23. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GlowLog from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of GlowLog, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, your violation of another person’s rights, your misuse of AI outputs, or your upload of images without permission.
24. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Ontario, Canada, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
25. Changes to These Terms
GlowLog may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we may notify you by email, by in-app notice, or by updating the effective date above. Your continued use of GlowLog after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
